Cleaning Room Service is provided once per check-in. Additional cleaning, sheets and towels and or laundy service available upon request (extra fees may apply).

We love pets! We are always happy to host them, but we need them to be quite and behave. Responsible owners must aknowledge that for safety reasons, the apartment must undergo full cleaning professional service (extra fees apply).

Hot water is provided via an electrical heating boiler located in the bathroom. The double switch is located in the central utility board, by the door. Allow 10 minutes, test and always switch off before entering the shower.  

IMPORTANT: Do not throw paper or any other object in the toilet seat. Please watch your step after your shower – it can get very slippery. 

The largest, chronologically latest Mosque and most significant mosque, Yeni Djami (Mosque), was founded by the Nazir of Mytilene, Mustafa Ağa Kulaksız, in the centre of the former Ottoman market.

Built between 1825 and 1826, it was part of a larger complex which included, among other buildings, the Ottoman Market Bath, the so-called Çarşi Hamam, the religious tribunal (mekheme), the seminary (medrese) of Hadji Mehmed Ağa, the residence of the mufti with a complex of public drinking fountains on the ground floor, etc. 

It had a large paved courtyard to the north, with two separate gates – one for the men to the west and one for the women to the east – and a second courtyard (with further outbuildings) to the south, intended for the preparation of the dead before burial.

The Carsi Hammam (Turkish meaning “market bath”) is a monumental, domed structure with a rectangular floor plan that now serves as museum and cultural event space.

If you are lucky enough, you might be able to live a spectacular evening in your balcony, watching first hand classical music concerts, student choirs and interesting galleries. 

This is a cafe, located on ground level of our building. It’s open since early morning until around midnight and also for a brief time 14:00 to  17:00. Convenient for coffee and snacks. Can provide breakfast if requested. Their phone line 2251022540 is also their wifi code

The building entrance faces west, directly oppoiste the Yeni Mosque archeological site. On Ermou street – walking north towards the city center, we will very quicly find a small convenient shop on our right hand that also sells grocery and freshly grinded coffee. Walking north, towards “Pano Skala” after a bit,  on your right hand you will find a small bakery that is owned by two tween brothers. 

There is a lot of open public spaces to park your car (as indicated in purple dots). Ermou street is mostly closed to cars. Alternative route to cross infront of our building can be seen in green.
